These are some types of food we recommend our readers to include in your daily meal for a better healthier, looking you.
- Peppers. Choose from Red, orange, yellow, green peppers – they’re all a good source of carotene some of which the body safely converts into vitamin A. Vitamin A is essential for healthy eyes and our immune response.
- Kiwi Fruit. They are rich in vitamin C, which not only helps boost your immune system – reducing the risk of those grey-looking periods when you’re on the verge of illness – but also aids iron absorption when you are eating iron-rich foods. If you become iron-deficient you will most be feeling tired and possibly dizzy.
- Tomatoes. A great source of vitamins C and E which are important for maintenance of health skin condition and eyes.
- Fish. Tuna, sardines, mackerel and salmon are useful sources of essential fatty acids (omega-3 group), great not only for better inner health but also for problems like eczema. Protein and EFAs could also help keep your hair and nails looking great, too!
- Berries. Dark berries, such as blueberries, blackberries and raspberries, have abundant antioxidant properties.
- Avocado. Avocados are a fruit, not a vegetable! It regulates your metabolic activity and that helps to lose weight. Avocados are rich in monounsaturated fats. This means that avocado contains fat soluble vitamins and fats. Hence, when you eat avocado with salads and other foods, avocado helps to digest and absorb all the nutrients.
